Our business
Kova Direct Ltd provides a workforce engagement, payroll and compliance platform to UK recruitment agencies. Our customers engage workers across logistics, industrial, construction and professional sectors.
Our commitment
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings, and to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains. We do not tolerate any form of forced or bonded labour, exploitation, or human trafficking.
Worker visibility
Direct engagement is, in itself, an anti-exploitation measure. Every worker on Kova has a verified identity, a digital Right-to-Work check, an itemised contract and an itemised payslip on every pay run. There are no opaque deductions and no hidden intermediaries.
Due diligence
We perform background checks on all new employees and contractors. We require all sub-processors to confirm their own anti-slavery practices. Our agency customers contractually warrant that they will use the platform only for lawfully engaged workers.
Reporting
Anyone with concerns about modern slavery in connection with Kova or its customers can report them in confidence to dale@kovadirect.co.uk. Reports are investigated and, where appropriate, escalated to the relevant authorities.
Approval
This statement is made under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Kova Direct Ltd's slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year.
